[email protected] · github.com/v-eatpizzanot · linkedin.com/in/eremie
Support Engineer at GitHub, helping customers investigate platform issues and use the REST and GraphQL APIs, Copilot, repositories, and integrations. Previously progressed through helpdesk, team-facilitation, and senior technical support roles at a large international printing & publishing organisation. Professional IT support and PowerShell experience is complemented by AI-assisted personal software projects, not presented as independent software, ML, or blockchain expertise.
Experience
Support Engineer
May 2024 – present- Own customer-facing support investigations across GitHub products, coordinating reproducible bug reports and escalations with engineering.
- Troubleshoot REST and GraphQL API authentication, rate limits, pagination, webhook delivery, and deprecation migrations. API support remains part of the role after a former specialist arrangement ended.
- Support repository administration, Git operations, GitHub Apps and OAuth integrations, and GitHub Copilot capabilities.
- Investigate logs and request flows with Datadog, Azure Data Explorer, Splunk, and Sentry; use KQL in Azure Data Explorer and contribute support documentation.
- Received the Most Improved Engineer and Team Player awards in 2025.
Helpdesk Technician → Senior Technical Support Engineer
2018 – 2024- Progressed through helpdesk support, helpdesk management, L2 support, team facilitation, and senior technical support roles.
- Line-managed a support team and served as a primary departmental escalation point, escalating to headquarters when needed.
- Supported Active Directory, SCCM/MECM, JAMF Pro, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and Remote Desktop Services.
- Contributed PowerShell improvements to an in-house SCCM deployment tool, set up Redmine workflows, and led a Skype for Business to Microsoft Teams migration.
- Provided desktop, network, endpoint protection, VPN, and OS-deployment support across a multi-facility environment.
Selected personal projects — AI-assisted
I use AI coding tools to build and maintain personal projects. These demonstrate practical experimentation and operational follow-through, not professional software-engineering specialization.
- Eremie HQ — this Next.js website, with a progressively enhanced desktop, reader routes, and private support tools.
- JobHunt — a job-search and document-generation workflow with explicit human review before application submission.
- Football dataset tooling — data-quality checks, schema validation, and publishing pipelines.
- API and service tooling — experiments with API clients, restart recovery, and operational diagnostics.
